Hi! My name is Kim, and I’ve been a personal trainer with Self Made for the last five years. My specialty is weight-loss and strength training, where every program is customized for each individual client.
I like to make training fun and enjoyable while still getting a sweat on! I’ll teach you proper form, how to safely use the machines and equipment, as well as help build your confidence in the gym!
In my experience, the mental side of health is just important as the physical side. As someone who has dealt with depression and anxiety, I understand what it’s like and have learned to utilize working out as my therapy. I like teaching my clients how to do the same! Consider me like a life coach.
Having previous injuries on my shoulders, I’ve undergone surgery and physical therapy. I understand how to work around injuries without getting hurt, and can help provide assistance with practicing certain exercises and stretches to strengthen.
